From an old stone barn
to a contemporary retreat
Cumbres de Lores was conceived to bring together the traditional architecture of Lores and a contemporary way of living. The result is a spacious, warm and comfortable country house, naturally integrated into the village and designed for enjoying the Palencia Mountains throughout the year.
The origin
Stone that belonged here
Cumbres de Lores stands where an old stone barn once formed part of village life. The original building was rebuilt as a new home, reusing stone from the former structure piece by piece. The result is contemporary comfort with a deep sense of place.
The materials
Old oak and local stone
Recovered oak beams, local stone and natural textures define the house. These are the materials that have shaped mountain homes in this part of Spain for generations.
